Organisation of Power
Obviously, the most fundamental building block of a society is how power is organised. In todays world, power is mostly held by countries alone, and also, but far less strongly, by international organisations from the UN to NATO, the EU and even international non-governmental organisations.
In a Spurrist society their would be a revolutionary redistrobution and reorganisation of power. Countries, as we see them today, will cease to exist. There will be a world state in which every person in the world has a direct say (Unlike the UN where we elect a government directly, but and then the government decides people to represent the country). The world government would have significant power, power to set world wide standards and laws, however it would not have absolute power. Next there would be nations, such as the countries we have today but with much less power, and maybe not the same borders. These nations would be able to decide their internal affairs to some extent, they would be able to make some laws specific to their country. Within these nations would be regions, such as groups of a few counties in the UK (Like the proposed devolution areas), and city councils, which would be pretty much the same as today, but would not control certain aspects which would be better centerally controlled.
